Create once. Teach every learner.
Professors bring the lectures they already have. Lectaive keeps their content as the source of truth and builds an adaptive learning experience around it, reviewed and approved before a student sees it.

Lectaive
Prepares the lecture
- Keeps your content as the source of truth
- Prepares one shared transcript for review
- You review and approve before publishing
Students
Same lecture. Different support.

One professor-approved lecture. The same required content for everyone. Extra explanation only where it helps.
How will you use Lectaive?
For students
Your professor's lecture, with support where you need it
Every student gets the same professor-approved transcript. Lectaive reads how you learn and adds explanation between your professor's sentences when it judges that it helps. The slide and your professor's words stay exactly as they were.
The slide
The bias-variance tradeoff
- Total error decomposes into three parts
- Bias: error from an over-simple model
- Variance: sensitivity to the training sample
Unchanged for every student. Lectaive never edits the file your professor uploaded.
What this student hears
Illustrative exampleEvery model carries two different kinds of error, and reducing one tends to increase the other.
Expected error = bias² + variance + irreducible error.
Read bias² as the error left by assumptions that are too simple, squared so it is always positive. Variance is how much the fitted model moves when the training sample changes.
So a model that is too simple and a model that is too flexible can both predict badly, for opposite reasons.
Your professor's sentences are the fixed text. The tinted lines are the explanation Lectaive added around them.
Learning context
Management, new to the subject. Academic area is one signal among several, and it never decides which transcript a student gets.

Detail
1 explanation added
Same slide, same professor transcript, either way.
1 explanation added between the professor's sentences.Example copy, written by hand. The five learners are illustrations, not real students. Lectaive keeps every definition, formula and required term the professor confirmed, and added explanation is checked against them before a student sees it.
After approval
One approved lecture, many ways to learn
Personalized support changes only what extra explanation is useful. This is the other half: how the same lecture can be studied. Every path below starts from the same professor-approved content.
Same approved content behind every path. Lectaive can add support where it helps, and you choose how you want to learn.
The student loop
A learning loop grounded in your course
Learning does not stop when the lecture ends. Ask, practise, listen and say what did not land, and Lectaive uses those signals to make its future support more useful. Your professor's approved content stays exactly as they wrote it.
Stays exactly as approved. Nothing below rewrites it.
Learn
You open the slide and the approved transcript, and listen to it read aloud if that helps.
Your activity shapes the support, never the course content.
Progress and feedback tune Ask AI, AI Voice and Study Space. They do not change the slide, the approved transcript, or anything your professor marked as required.
The whole system
The Lectaive learning loop
Professor-approved content anchors everything. Students learn, ask, practise and give feedback, Lectaive uses the relevant context to make its future support more useful, and instructors get insight into how the learning is going.
Course contentStable. Only you change this.
Support around itAdapts per student, within what you approved.
What comes back to you
Branching from progress and learning activity
Insight only. The decision is yours.
Professor
Your course, your material, your words. Everything downstream starts here.
One lecture you approved. Support that fits each student. Insight back to you.
Nothing a student does changes the slide, the approved transcript, or anything you marked as required.

About Lectaive
Students arrive at the same lecture from different fields. An example that lands immediately for a computer science student can be the thing that loses an accounting student, not because the material is too hard but because it is framed for someone else.
Lectaive takes the lecture a professor already wrote and prepares one transcript from it. The professor stays the author: they review that transcript, confirm the definitions, formulas and terms that must stay exactly as written, and nothing reaches a student until they approve it. Every student then learns from that same transcript, with extra explanation added around it where their learning context suggests it helps.
